Abstract:
This book consists of three parts. Part I deals with the history and legal aspects relating to Palestinian nationality based on applicable domestic legislation in Gaza and the West Bank as well as on public international law principles. Part II focuses on the nationality of moral persons in general, and the nationality of commercial companies in particular, using comparative law approaches that set out criteria to regulate companies’ nationality. Part III explores the question of nationality and domicile as connecting factors to resolve conflict of law issues, particularly family law cases pertaining to private international law that include foreign element.
