dc.description.abstract The study aims at recognizing the extent of commitment of persons in charge to the criteria of personal quality and ways of enhancing it in Bethlehem Directorate of Education from the employees viewpoints. It also aims at identifying the change in commitment due to different variables (specialization, gender, academic qualification, and job). The researcher used a qualitative method depending on genuine interviews in addition to quantitative method using a questionnaire to collect data. Validity and reliability of tools were guaranteed via suitable statistic methods. Cronbach Alpha was used to test reliability (0.92). Population of the study consisted of all workers in Bethlehem Directorate of Education (n. 221). The researcher selected a random sample of 55 students. Results of the study showed that the commitment of persons in charge to the criteria of personal quality was high with a degree of 4.02. Results also showed absence of commitment by persons in charge in the directorate due to academic qualifications and gender. en_US
