dc.description.abstract Abstract The use of medicinal plants in skin care products has gained significant popularity in recent years due to growing interest in natural and organic products. However, there is limited research on the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of the Palestinian community towards the use of medicinal plants in skin care. This study aimed to investigate these aspects among Palestinians living in Hebron and Bethlehem governorates. The study utilized a quantitative approach using a survey questionnaire, The survey collected data from 504 participants aged 18 years and above, assessing their knowledge, attitudes, and practices towards medicinal plants in skin care. Results indicated a moderate level of knowledge among participants, with a strong preference for natural ingredients over synthetic ones. Attitudes towards medicinal plants in skin care were generally positive, although concerns regarding safety were noted. Participants demonstrated moderate practices in using such products, with a preference for those containing medicinal plants. Gender differences were found in knowledge, attitudes, and practices, while significant differences were observed based on marital status and age groups. However, no significant variations were detected concerning educational background, residence, or place of living. This study provides valuable insights into the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of the Palestinian community towards the use of medicinal plants in skin care. Findings can inform interventions aimed at promoting the use of these plants and contribute to the development of sustainable and natural approaches to skin care. Further research in this area is recommended to enhance understanding and address gaps in knowledge. en_US
