Abstract The study aimed to identify the correlation between social intelligence and psychological security among students with visual impairment in Palestinian universities, and used the descriptive, associative approach. The study sample included all students with visual impairment in Palestinian universities (Hebron, Birzeit, and An-Najah), and the number (58) Male and female students for the academic year (2019/2020), as a measure of social intelligence and a measure of psychological security were applied to them, and the study was applied to all members of the sample. The study found that there is a positive direct relationship between social intelligence and psychological security among students with visual impairment in Palestinian universities, where the correlation coefficient of the relationship between them is (0.75). The results showed that the level of social intelligence among students with visual impairment in Palestinian universities was high, where the mean for the total degree of social intelligence (3.79), and that the level of psychological security for them was average, the mean of the total degree of psychological security was (3.62). The study found that there were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the members of the study sample to the level of social intelligence among students with visual impairment in Palestinian universities due to the gender variable, while the differences were statistically significant according to the difference of the degree of disability, and the differences were in favor of students whose degree of disability is partial, and the presence of statistically significant differences Among the mean levels of social intelligence among students is attributed to the variable of the educational level, and for the benefit of students of the second, third and fourth year. The study also found that there were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the members of the study sample to the level of psychological security among students with visual impairment in Palestinian universities due to the gender variable. While the differences were statistically significant between the averages of the psychological security level of students according to the variable of the degree of disability, and the differences were in favor of the students whose degree of disability is partial, and there were statistically significant differences in the level of psychological security of students with the different variable of the educational level, and for the benefit of third and fourth year students. In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need for attention by all those who have a relationship with students with visual impairments (family, university, community institutions) to develop their psychological security level by satisfying their psychological, social and academic needs.
