قضاء بئر السبع من الاحتلال البريطاني إلى الاحتلال الإسرائيلي (1917-1948م)

Abstract

المخلص تناولت هذه الدراسة بالبحث قضاء بئر السبع من الاحتلال البريطاني إلى الاحتلال الإسرائيلي. وذلك من عام 1917م حتى عام 1948م، وهو العام الذي فرض فيه الاحتلال الاسرائيلي على القضاء، وتعتبر هذه الفترة من الفترات المهمة في تاريخ قضاء بئر السبع ومن أهم الفترات التي مر بها، وتهدف الدراسة إلى تقديم صورة شاملة عن قضاء بئر السبع في فترة الانتداب البريطاني. وتناولت هذه الدراسة في البداية إعادة بناء مدينة بئر السبع في عام 1900م خلال العهد العثماني في زمن السلطان عبد الحميد الثاني، وبينت الأسباب التي جعلت الدولة العثمانية تقوم بإنشائها. كما تطرقت الدراسة لأوضاع قضاء بئر السبع خلال الاحتلال البريطاني الذي فرض على المدينة في عام 1917م. وأوضحت الدور البريطاني في السيطرة على القضاء، ودور أهل القضاء في الحركة الوطنية الفلسطينية ضد الاحتلال الإنجليزي. وقد تناولت الدراسة سكان قضاء بئر السبع خلال فترة الانتداب البريطاني، وبينت عدد السكان والاحصاءات التي قامت بها سلطة الانتداب لسكان هذه المنطقة، وكذلك التعليم والصحة. وتطرقت الدراسة للأحداث في قضاء بئر السبع عام 1948م ودور أهله في الدفاع عنه مع متطوعين عرب ضد العصابات اليهودية التي أدت في النهاية إلى سقوطه بأيديالقواتالإسرائيلية. وانتهت الدراسة بالوقوف على الأوضاع الاقتصادية في قضاء بئر السبع خلال فترة الانتداب البريطاني، وأهم الأنشطة الاقتصادية فيه، خلالهذهالفترة. Abstract This study conducted research onBi'r Al-saba' district since the British occupation until the Israeli occupation, that is from the year 1918 until 1948 - the year that the Israeli occupation was implemented in Bi'r Al-saba' district. This period is considered one of the most important periods that the district endured throughout history. The study aims to provide an overview of Bi'r Al-saba' district during the British mandate. The study at first discusses rebuilding Bi'r Al-saba' in 1900 during the Ottoman Empire in the time of Sultan Abdulhamid II, in addition to the strategic reasoning behind the Ottoman’s construction of the city. It then goes on to outline the situation of the district during the British occupation which was imposed on the city in 1917, and clarified the British role in the methods used to take control over the district, in addition to the role of the local people in the district in the Palestinian national movement against the British occupation. The discussion then moves on to the people of Bi'r Al-saba' during the period of the British mandate. The paper outlines the key demographic changes and the socio-economic statistics that the mandate authority conducted for the people of the district. Health and education system imposed at the time of the British are also discussed. The study also mentioned Bi'r Al-saba' incidents in 1948 and the role of its people to defend it along with Arab volunteers against the Jewish gangs, in where at the end it was lost for the favor of the Jewish gangs. The study endedwith the most important economic activities that the residents ofthe district undertook.
