بلدية القدس في العهد الأردني (1948_1967)

Abstract

الملخص تناولت هذه الدراسة بالبحث دور بلدية القدس في العهد الأردني ، وذلك من عام 1948 حتى عام 1967 وهو العام الذي فرض فيه الإحتلال الإسرائيلي على المدينة ، وتعتبر فترة الحكم الأردني لمدينة القدس من أهم الفترات التاريخية التي مرت بها المدينة ، وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى توضيح الدور الذي قامت به بلدية القدس الأردنية في تطوير المدينة ، وإبراز أهم الأعمال التي قامت بها البلدية خلال هذه الفترة تناولت الدراسة في البداية تشكيل أول بلدية في مدينة القدس خلال العهد العثماني في عام 1863 في عهد السلطان عبد العزيز بن محمود الثاني ، بالإضافة إلى أهم الأعمال التي قامت بها البلدية خلال هذه الفترة . كما تناولت الدراسة أوضاع بلدية القدس خلال فترة الإنتداب البريطاني الذي فرض على المدينة في عام 1922 ، وتوضيح الصراع العربي اليهودي للسيطرة على البلدية ، هذا بالإضافة إلى الحديث عن الصعوبات التي واجهت البلدية بعد إنقسام المدينة في أعقاب حرب عام 1948 . وقد تحدثت الدراسة عن بلدية القدس في فترة الحكم الأردني للمدينة ، حيث تم تشكيل أول مجلس بلدي في هذه الفترة على يد الحاكم العسكري عبد الله التل في اواخر عام 1948 ، كما تناولت الدراسة تطور المجالس البلدية خلال هذه الفترة وأهم الأعمال التي قامت بها هذه المجالس . و تناولت الدراسة كذلك ، تحويل بلدية القدس إلى أمانة القدس وكان ذلك في عام 1959، وأهم الأعمال التي قامت بها والتي تهدف إلى تطوير المدينة . This study investigates the role of Jerusalem’s municipality under Jordanian rule which lasted from 1948 to 1967, the year in which the city was occupied by Israel. The period of Jordanian rule of Jerusalem is considered one of the most important historic periods for the city. This study aims at identify the role of the Jordanian Jerusalem municipality in developing the city by highlighting its greatest achievements during that era. The study started with the establishment of Jerusalem’s municipality for the first time under the rule of the Ottoman Sultan Abdul Aziz b. Mahmud II in 1863, and highlighted the most important achievements of the municipality during that time. The study also discussed the situation of Jerusalem’s municipality under British Mandate (1917-1948), and the Arab-Israeli power struggle over it. In addition, the study discussed the challenges faced by the municipality after the partition of Jerusalem following the war of 1948. The study’s primary focus is on Jerusalem’s municipality under Jordanian rule. In 1948, the first municipal council was formed by the military governor Abdullah At-Tal, the study discussed the development of these councils throughout time and their most important achievements. The study also covered the transformation of the municipality into an administrative division in 1959, and its most important achievements that aimed at developing the city.
