Abstract: الملخّص باللغة العربية برهان الدين الجعبري وآثاره العلمية في العصر المملوكي إعداد رجاء مهدي الأشهب إشراف الدكتور شوكت رمضان حجّة تطرقت هذه الدراسة إلى الحديث أولاً عن الحياة العِلمية في مدينة الخليل قبل قدوم برهان الدين الجعبري، من حيث ذكرُ أهم المؤسّسات التعليميّة في الخليل والمتمثلة بالمساجد مثل المسجد الإبراهيميّ والمسجد الجاولي ومسجد عثمان بن عفان ومسجد علي البكّاء، والمدارس مثل المدرسة الفخرية والقيمرية ومدرسة السلطان حسن. وشملت الدراسة –أيضّاً- نشأة برهان الدين الجعبريّ، فتحدثت عن اسمه وكنيته وولادته ونسبه وصفاته الشّخصيّة وألقابه ورحلاته وأعماله والوظائف التي تقلّدها، وعن شيوخه وتلاميذه ووفاته. ثمَ تناولت هذه الدراسة نشأة الشيخ برهان الدين الجعبريّ، بذكر صفاته وخصائص شخصيّته وآراء العلماء فيه، بالإضافة إلى رحلاته التي ارتحل بها لطلب العلم، فالشّيخ برهان الدين عاش في عصر دولة المماليك الأولى (648-784هـ/ 1250- 1382م)، وعاصر الاجتياح المغوليّ للعالم الإسلاميّ، وبقايا الحملات الفرنجية (الصّليبية)، ورغم هذه الظّروف التي عصفت بعصرِهِ إلا أنه أفنى حياته كلّها بالدراسة، واستقى العلم عن ثُلّةٍ كبيرة من الشّيوخ وله العديد من المصنّفات في تخصّصاتٍ متعددة، مثل: علوم القرآن، وعلوم الحديث، والفقه، والسّيرة، وعلم الأصول والجدل، والقراءات، والتاريخ، بالإضافة إلى الأدبيات، هذا وقد نهلَ من علمه عشرات التلاميذ. بالإضافة إلى عرض لمصنّفاته وأعماله الأدبية، من مصنفات في علوم القرآن، وعلوم الحديث والفقه والسّيرة والتاريخ والأدبيات وغيرها من المصنّفات. Abstract Burhanaddeen Al-Jabari’s Scientific legacy in The mamluk Period By Raja’ Mahdi Al-Ashhab Supervised by Professor Shawkat R. Hijjih The present study starts with an overview of academic life in Hebron prior to the advent of Burhan Al-Din Al-Jabari. It outlines the most prominent educational institutions in Hebron, including mosques like Al-Ibrahimi Mosque, Al-Jawli Mosque, Othman bin Affan Mosque, Ali Al-Bakka Mosque, and schools like Al-Fakhriah and Al-Qaymariyah Schools, as well as Sultan Hassan School. The study also sheds light on Burhan al-Din al-Jabari's upbringing, in terms of his name, nickname, birth, lineage, personal qualities, titles, trips, work, posts, sheikhs (religious scholars), students and death. This study explores the biography of Sheikh Burhan Al-Din Al-Jabari, including his qualities, personality, scholarly travels, and peers’ opinions of him. Sheikh Burhan al-Din lived during the first Mamluk state (648-784 AH / 1250-1382 AD) and witnessed the Mongol invasion of the Islamic world as well as the vestiges of Frankish campaigns (the Crusades). Despite the difficult circumstances of his time, he spent his entire life studying and learning from a large group of Sheikhs. He has many works in various disciplines, such as Qur'anic sciences, Hadith (Prophetic traditions) sciences, Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Sīrah(Prophetic biography), science of origins and controversy, Quranic recitations, history, and others. He taught a large number of students. The study also includes an overview of his literary works and books on the sciences of the Qur'an, Hadith (Prophetic traditions), Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Sīrah (Prophetic biography), history, literature and the like.
